ELAC is the English Language Advisory Committee and is comprised of parents of children who are Multilingual Learners.
- At McKinley, we meet in a group called 'Hablemos,' which means 'Let's Talk.' And that is just what we do!

We discuss parents' concerns about and desires for their children and their children's school. The meetings are generally held in English and Spanish, but we translate in other languages when the need arises if a translator is available.

Two or three times each year, our English Language Development Specialist makes a presentation about the programs that affect our Multilingual Learners.

HABLEMOS~ usually the second Friday of each month at 8:30 a.m. The invitation is sent to parents of Multilingual Learners and Reclassified Multilingual Learners. Scheduled meetings are listed below:
